I replaced all rubber lines on my 71 with stainless steel lines. Smiley my brakes have never felt so good. I think it was well worth the effort

Great choice to go with stainless on your '71. Rubber lines can have some "give" in them and give you a spongy peddle.

I put them on my 70 about 8 or 9 years ago and have been very satisfied with them. I think you made a good decision using those lines. You should never have a problem with them again.
