Hey Everyone,
I just purchased a 1981 Corvette that had been sitting in a barn for 3 years, and trying to do a complete brake overhaul before I get it on the road. When replacing the rear calipers, I discovered that the rear parking brake cables had been disconnected, and after further examination, determined that there was no pads or hardware for the parking brake on the drivers side. I purchased a rear brake kit from Mid America, and have replaced the cables, but now I need to replace the pads & hardware. I've done several drum brakes, but this does not look easy. I have a Haynes manual, but it does not go into detail as "How to" do it. Can anyone tell the proper way of doing this procedure? Thanks
