I purchased my 72 coupe as a basket case (completely disassembled). Fortunately I am nearing the final stages of the restoration. My assembly manual is unclear. Is the carpet installed before the seat belts are bolted down Huh I have the seat belt option that has the retractable shoulder harness and lap belt. If anyone has any pictures that might help I would appreciate it.

Thanks,

Sully

I replaced the front carpet THEN the seat belts on my '73.  I didn't replace the rear carpet (didn't need to) but had the moulding apart and would be the same there.
Thanks,

Sully - my 68 is a basket case too and would be glad to hear any tips or advice you may have.
