Im new here and just bought a 1981 4spd ...... Where/Who, would anyone suggest I purchase new carpet from? also does the heat barrier really work Huh Man that car get hott

On my 72, I got my new carpet off of ebay.  The sellers name was "autocarpet" and they delivered a nice product for a decent price.  If you are have a heat issue, I would defiantly recommend getting the insulation that goes under the carpet.

hello ray say your post didnt know if you  had found carpet or not but its about the same wereever you buy from. i saw you live in wichita ks i now live in sac ca and i am from eldoraldo ks 30 miles from you so just wanted to say hello to a fello kansan Monte

Lay down some dyna mat and wrap your exhaust pipe under the car. That will help a lot. Sidepipes can also solve some under car heat issues.
