Im new here and just bought a 1981 4spd ...... Where/Who, would anyone suggest I purchase new carpet from? also does the heat barrier really work  Man that car get hott Thanks Ray Wichita Kansas |

On my 72, I got my new carpet off of ebay. The sellers name was "autocarpet" and they delivered a nice product for a decent price. If you are have a heat issue, I would defiantly recommend getting the insulation that goes under the carpet. |

Lay down some dyna mat and wrap your exhaust pipe under the car. That will help a lot. Sidepipes can also solve some under car heat issues. |
