I am in the middle of a fix.

The ignition key assembly broke and would no longer start the car.

I stripped out everything and got a new key lock assembly and the sector gear on the other side of the steering column.

Problem now is that the sector gear shaft is old and broken.  It has a lip around the end that is near the key side that is now gone.

I can't find a place that has the part for the 69.  Eckler's makes it for the 77 and up.

This one is not quite right.

Still waiting on some vendors to answer back.

Anyone have a good place to find it?

FYI to all:

I got a great tip from the Corvette Steering guy.

The sector shaft has flanges that break off.  I only had to put a washer on the shaft before seating in the steering column and then tap it into the new sector gear.  Used a lot of grease so it would slip in easy and work well once closed up.  I tapped it in until it was tight and then backed it off just a tad so it turned freely.  I abandoned the lock ring it used to have because the  sector gear fits tight enough to stay in place.

A great tip that worked out well and saved money.  Since no one has yet to respond that they carry this part it sure helped out.

Thanks to Tom
