Wednesday January 4th dad past away from his battle with cancer.  We had his service Saturday and it was beautiful.  I will be away for awhile.  I have to take some time for myself.

Here is a picture of my dad.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I can relate and know I will be facing the same thing in the future since my Dad (69 this coming March) has stage 4 lung cancer, diagnosed Feb 2011. My thoughts, prayers and understanding of your situation are with you.

My prayers go out to both you guys.Cancer took my wife a few years back. It's a real tough deal but somehow we find ways to get through things that seem impossible at the time, although, not easy.Thinking of you..............Rick

Keith,
I am sorry to hear of your loss and understand the pain you are going through.  Taking some time away is a good thing.  Don't rush back. We often deny ourselves the need of grieving.  At the same time, enjoy the time and the memories.  Your Vette will be one of those lasting memories with and about your Dad.  Cherish them. I'll be praying for you and your brothers. GOd bless you.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you. I have had family members (my step dad included) who have passed away from cancer. It's a very tough thing to deal with right now, but with time and the right amount of grieving, you can come out of this with a smile and great memories of your Dad. I only know this from experience. God bless.
