I was out with friends having coffee over in Elizabeth just hangin out with our cars lined up together and a guy pulled up in a Challenger and parked. Turns out he knows one of my friends and ended up hangin with us for awhile. Since I was the only other domestic car there he was curious about what mods I had and he claimed his SRT with a CAI, exhaust and tune was making 500hp. I told him my car had a small block with an auto trans and a few bolt ons. I really was not saying much about my car and got him to run me for fun. We went over to ghost town and lined up. I had to leave soft on street tires so the SRT got the jump but not for long and I got passed him stayed in it to get a good lead and let off. came back and went again, this time I tried to leave harder and the tires just spun and I had to let out and get back in but now  the SRT had a car on me but I still caught up and started to pull him but he let out once I got a nose passed him. We went one more time and I got my car to hook up pretty decent and the SRT never had a chance. I made all my runs on motor and no nitrous and the guy with the SRT was shocked that my old Vette schooled him. I headed home with a big grinn on my face. I will post a video once I get my hands on it. someone got all 3 runs on their phone.
