Greetings all, my questions is simple.... I have changed almost all my suspension with the exception of the trailing arm which are hanging in there just fine.  The shocks are my questions, when I restored the "78" I changed them to original ACDelco, ran them for about 200 miles ok but they floated the car more than I like.  I changed them to KYB GR-2 Gas Shocks and ran it for about another 200 miles, better but still not there. I've been reading up on the  Edelbrock IAS PERFORMER shocks from Summit, but wanted to know if anybody has had any experience with these or have any other suggestions? The car is used only for lite street use, but would like not minimize the wheels jumping so much everytime I cross a railroad track or pot hole... Thanks guys.

I have run the Edelbrocks on my 81 and the KYBs both good but the Edelbrocks are better. I have coil overs now  Smiley

Already installed the Edelbrock Shocks, Form and fit are much improved over the KYB and do provide a better ride experience. If you can justify the spare change, it's worth the investment.  Grin

I used the Bilstein Sports. Ol' Red rides so rough shocks are kind of a filler anyway.
