i think i remember reading that the turbo 400 speedo gear turns the opposite direction than the turbo 350 . i plan on replacing the 400 with my 350 race trans and was wondering if the cable would also turn the opposite direction and would that mess up the speedo. 1971 coupe. i ran this 350 trans for ten years behind my 700 horse 70 chevelle so i think it will hold up behind this 350 horse smallblock. has anybody put a 350 trans behind their early c-3. thank you very much.  |

I can't imagine that being the case. What would be the fix for this, a reverse gear adapter? |

It (speedo cable) turns the same direction regardless of what trans you have. 400, 350, all the manuals GM used turn the same direction.. |
