Have a radiator I need to clean out.  Was planning to fill it with vinegar and let it set for a few days then flush out with water.  However, it turns out to be an aluminium fadiator, and someone said the vinegar with damage the aluminum.  Anybody know anything? Huh

Well  checked on a vinegar website and several other car forums and found that others have used the white vinegar in aluminum radiators and had now problems.  So I filled it the other day and let it soak and then flushed it out.  Inside of radiator looked really good afterwards.  Some folks say there is a vinegar smell afterwards but I didn't experience that.
