Does anyone have a '73 small block with stock hood and performer RPM intake manifold? What filter setup did you use to make it fit?

I used to run this setup with my small block. I have a few pics of hood clearance and it was very close. I had a drop base air cleaner of about 2 inches and it worked great. Never once did it ever hit the hood and I was on the gas a few times hard on every trip. Here is a pic of how much drop is built in the base. And here is an idea of how much hood clearance I had with my setup.

Eddie, Thanks for the comeback. I only just read it as I have been away. BTW, I don't see the picture attachment (and I would like to), can you resend? Buster
